One of the UK's up and coming minimal/deep tech artists, Luke Welsh has a DJ and production history that far exceeds his age. Luke has been at the forefront of the Manchester electronic dance scene for years.
The Warehouse Project resident 2016-202. Youngest WHP resident on record. This platform gave Luke the amazing platform to cut his teeth warming up for the biggest underground and commercial artists in the world. These include Marco Carola, Fatboy Slim, Archie Hamilton, Solardo, Joseph Capriati, Hot Since 82, Richy Ahmed & many many more. With over 15 shows in his WHP residency across 4 years it saw Luke play for his dream brands such as Knee Deep, Elrow, Solid Grooves & Paradise.
Luke’s had an extensive amount of festival stage experience being a resident on the Glastonbury club stage Bez’s Flying Bus. Luke’s festival highlight comes from a peak time set at BPM Portugal B2B Mike Morrisey, a twist of fate and wAFF missing a flight give the two the opportunity to fill in and deliver a memorable sunset set on Blanco beach to announce themselves on the scene. Appearances at festivals such as Glastonbury, Hideout, The BPM, multiple sets at Parklife festival, Manchester on The Temple & The Hangar stages.and Super clubs such as Amnesia, Mayfield Depot, Studio 338 prove Luke Welsh’s experience.
Internationally Luke has played in Portugal, Romania, Spain, Ibiza, Croatia, Mexico, Holland, Germany and soon to be on a South America tour.
Luke’s biggest release to date is arguably ‘Pink Member’, which sat at #1 in the beatport minimal SINGLES chart for over 8 weeks, with Marco Carola playing it over 9 weekends in a row at Music On Ibiza. This was without doubt one of the tracks of the summer back in 2019.
